- The topic of hair salons comes up regularly on the International Women's Network mailing list. I think there isn't any harm in having a link to beauty issues on the top page. (And it has been accessed 81 times, which is more than some of the other pages that have top links.) I think it will prove useful to our female users, especially if we can convince them to put some more information on the pages. We could call it something like (something better than) "personal grooming" and include barbers. -- Shaney 05:49, 23 Aug 2005 (UTC)

- Oh, I see, it's not the content of the page, it's the title that bothers you! Well go ahead and change the title if you like. The only thing that I can think of is "grooming", but I'm sure I will get jokes about horses if I suggest that in earnest. :) But I do think we need a top page link to some kind of "umbrella" page that includes information like hair salons and esthe clinics. - I don't know if it bothers me so much as it stands out from the other boring-looking things in that list. Maybe it isn't an important matter whether it's there or somewhere else. I started the "services" category which is possible for that "beauty" to go under. I'm sure all of the information is important for some people. Anyway I always wondered why "Beauty" was such a leader of the Tsukuba Wiki. OK, well, let's just leave it there since it isn't doing any harm.--Ben 12:19, 23 Aug 2005 (UTC)
